Setting up a fly rod properly can be like learning a second language if you are trying to do it yourself for the first time.  Unless you’ve done this before or have seen someone do it you are going to end up completely confused about how to put the various parts together and make sure that they are secure when you head out onto the water to get your feet wet.  Rather than finding out that you didn’t tie the knots properly, or have the reel fastened onto the rod properly you will want to follow our instructions, along with some videos from some very helpful YouTube’rs and then get started putting together your brand new fly fishing outfit.
